Baby coaster 2009

Every member of the family can find something to entertain them at Alton Towers, but babies and toddlers are slightly left out in the thrilling ride stakes. So as part of the resorts focus on fun for the whole family, a new ride concept aimed at babies has been formed. Project Giant Gurgle, could see babies over six months or 24" tall sitting in teddy bear carriages on a suspended track. The coaster would sit 2 metres from the ground and have a maximum speed of 2mph. It would take 67 seconds to complete the 60 metre circuit, which would have drops of up to 30cm.

Please discuss here about the new ride for children.

I think it would be a good idea for the park to make it more for family's but they are wasting money for something that might not get used.

Yeah just what i thought. Hopefully managment at the resort will have sorted something so it will work.

And really how many baby's do you see in the park to be honest? The odd few.

I think its a really pointless addition, like the above poster said, hardly any babies in the park and personally I'm craving a new PROPER coaster.

Replace corkscrew with something amazing and I'l be happy
