Now a new deal promises to bring new content and advertisement to the screens. The company responsible for the screens, Cheadle based Vision Media Group, has recently signed a deal with London company Match Day Media to bring a new advertising drive via the screens.
Match Day Media is already well skilled in screen advertising and currently holds contracts at 12 Premier League football clubs including Arsenal, Everton & Manchester United, where they offer live coverage of the game interspersed with advertising, competition & unique features.
With such a diverse captive audience, it will be interesting to see what will appear on the screens in the future. As yet it is not known when this new deal will come into affect.
